House Rules
There aren't too many "house rules" that have come up with playing Calaboose. The only variant that we occasionally play with is to remove two of the Gunslingers from the deck before playing. Sometimes, the Gunslingers can get out of hand (particularly with new players) and removing two can mitigate this problem.

Most people that we play with prefer having all the Gunslingers in, but it's all a question of what you like. Having two fewer Gunslingers in the deck certainly provides a gentler game.

Now get back to your Calaboose before someone fills it with Hucksters!
